I built a PC because basically i wanted to future proof and get more POWER out of my at home setup. I didn’t switch completely, I still am in the Apple bubble. iPad, iPhone + Macbook Pro. But I found that you could get a lot more power out of building you’re own PC. Also you get to completely customize pretty much everything about the build. Which for me was pretty dang fun.
It’s not the most popular to go this route nowadays. But I found my iMac to run too slow for video editing. And as I am getting more into this aspect of work, I wanted to make sure the power could handle 4k video. So with looking around and tons of research i came up with the build and started to piece it together. Seems like the GPU is the big ticket item that will make the difference. And so I went with a Geforce RTX 2060 card. The cards can get SO expensive so I found this to be the best bang for the buck. The other side of it is the CPU and going AMD saved a bunch of money. Intel is great and prob overall better? But I went against the grain and chose another bang for you buck part. If you look into these new AMD cards they perform really well! And overclocking is really easy and can push out a lot of performance.
So below I listed my parts list, if you’re interested in building a PC shoot me DM on Instagram.
